The ISS team provides safety and sustainability assessment for technologies and products to stimulate :
eco-design : choosing the best performing option from an environmental, social and economic standpoint
safety : prevention of hazards and risks in products The team also contributes to and is informed of methodological developments surrounding life cycle assessment.
The LFAN possess strong skills in additive manufacturing, from advanced conception to powder metallurgy, including the digital tools needed (digital twins, data science). The Poudr'Innov 2.0 platform has 3D printing and additive manufacturing semi-industrial and industrial machinery.
