CIRC EV

CIRC-eV is Europe's first Circular Factory Lab focused on the e-mobility sector. It integrates disassembly, testing, reassembly, and recycling of Li-ion batteries in one pilot environment. It supports sustainable innovation through data-driven modelling, testing protocols, and reverse logistics research. The lab specializes in training initiatives and new technology development/implementation, with two main areas of expertise: validation and testing of new technologies and industrial processes for circular economy, and training and new processes dissemination with industrial partners. CIRC-eV serves as a comprehensive facility where companies in the Li-ion, composite, and electronics sectors can access cutting-edge circular economy solutions. By combining practical disassembly and reassembly operations with advanced testing capabilities, the lab creates a unique ecosystem for developing and validating sustainable e-mobility technologies. The facility bridges the gap between research and industrial application, offering both technological innovation and knowledge transfer to accelerate the transition toward circular practices in the rapidly growing electric vehicle market. This integrated approach positions CIRC-eV as a key enabler for companies seeking to implement circular economy principles while advancing the sustainability of Europe's e-mobility infrastructure.
